WriteNow is Penguin's award-winning programme which aims to find, nurture and publish new writers from communities under-represented on the nation's bookshelves, giving them the tools, information and access needed to get published. They offer the longlisted authors a free workshop on how to get published, one-to-one feedback from a Penguin editor, the chance to join their year-long programme and the chance to get published.
I'm so excited to announce I've been longlisted for this wonderful scheme. I can't wait to get stuck into the workshop on 11th July, and get the chance to hear from some amazing authors, agents and editors, and meet other writers like me.
I'd love to hear from other writers who have been shortlisted, or who have been on the WriteNow programme before!
